AhlulBayt News Agency: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy has conducted a hybrid, live exercise dubbed “Smart Control of the Strait of Hormuz.”
The drills were held on Monday under the supervision of IRGC Commander-in-Chief Major General Mohammad Pakpour.
The primary objectives of the exercise included assessing the operational readiness of IRGC Navy units, reviewing logistical plans, and rehearsing scenarios for reciprocal military action in response to potential security and military threats in the Strait of Hormuz region.
A rapid, decisive, and comprehensive response to maritime security threats form the core focus of the intelligence and operational components of the units deployed during the exercise.
