Mowlavi Salami: All Muslims are in Same Vessel of Revolution

Mowlavi Nazir Ahmad Salami, a member of the Supreme Council of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, stated in an interview that the Islamic Revolution ultimately seeks the dignity of the Muslim Ummah and complete victory over the enemies of Islam.

Ahlulbayt News Agency: Mowlavi Nazir Ahmad Salami, a member of the Supreme Council of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, stated in an interview that the Islamic Revolution ultimately seeks the dignity of the Muslim Ummah and complete victory over the enemies of Islam.

Mowlavi Salami emphasized that the Revolution, through its emphasis on unity and rapprochement among Islamic schools of thought, has effectively reorganized and revitalized the Muslim community. He noted that by reviving core Islamic teachings, the Revolution helped reconstruct what he described as a previously fragmented Islamic body, the effects of which are now clearly visible.

Despite acknowledging that the ultimate goals have yet to be fully realized, Salami said the achievements and blessings of the Revolution over the years have been substantial. Among its most significant accomplishments, he cited the reduction of divisions among followers of various Islamic sects.

The Sunni scholar further stated that Imam Khomeini had rightly conveyed to the Islamic world that the path of the Revolution is irreversible, adding that his consistent emphasis on Islamic unity has yielded tangible results and lasting influence.

Referring to the leadership of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Salami said that, under the wise vision of Imam Khomeini and his successor, the Muslim Ummah has increasingly embraced the concept of rapprochement, with all working “in the same vessel” toward the victory of Islam and the defense of the oppressed.

He concluded by stressing the need to draw upon the views of scholars and intellectuals to advance scientific, economic, political, and social progress, so that the Revolution — which he described as achieved through great sacrifice and as a model for freedom-seekers worldwide — may remain strong and victorious on all fronts.
