AhlulBayt News Agency: An Islamic seminary named Imam Muhammad Baqir (AS) Seminary was launched in the city of Qani, Nigeria.
The As’hab al-Kasa International Center affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine has established the seminary.
It was inaugurated in a ceremony attended by representatives of the center and educational staff.
Sheikh Ahmed Rashid al-Tarfi, director of the center, said the ceremony that the seminary has been opened within the framework of the educational and cultural programs of the Astan and with the aim of expanding educational activities in African countries.
He added that the inauguration of the seminary is taking place in order to promote authentic Islamic culture and raise a generation that is aware of religious teachings, educated, and committed to moral and spiritual values.
He also emphasized that this school, with the help of experienced teaching staff, offers innovative educational programs and focuses on linking academic education with moral and spiritual teachings derived from the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
The As’hab al-Kasa International Center is implementing several educational and cultural projects in African and Asian countries in order to spread Islamic knowledge and culture in these societies.
