Afghan AhlulBayt Lovers Assembly: Threat Against Supreme Leader Is Attack on Will of Iranian Nation

The Assembly of Lovers of Ahlulbayt of Afghanistan issued a statement on the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, saying that the large public participation in the February 11 rallies shows national strength and is a clear response to the threats and plots of enemies.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Assembly of Lovers of Ahlulbayt of Afghanistan issued a statement on the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, saying that the large public participation in the February 11 rallies shows national strength and is a clear response to the threats and plots of enemies.

The assembly strongly condemned the threats against supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and declared that any attack on the position of religious leadership and the will of the Iranian nation is unacceptable and condemned.

In the statement, the head of the assembly said that since the beginning of the revolution, many plots have been made against Iran, but all of them have been defeated because of the awareness and unity of the Iranian people.

In the message, congratulations were extended to all oppressed people and Muslims around the world, especially to the revolutionary people of Iran and their leadership, on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

The statement explained that when the Islamic Revolution began under the leadership of Ruhollah Khomeini, the world was divided into two major powers, East and West, and many countries were under the control of either the United States or the Soviet Union. Imam Khomeini called on Muslim leaders and scholars to defend Islam and stand up for their independence.

The revolution followed the slogan “Neither East nor West, Islamic Republic” and achieved victory on February 11, 1979. Later, on April 1, 1979, the people of Iran voted in a public referendum in favor of establishing the Islamic Republic.

According to the statement, since that time, enemies—especially the United States—have continued their efforts against Iran. These efforts included supporting internal unrest, bomb attacks, assassinations of key revolutionary figures, imposing war under the leadership of Saddam Hussein, economic sanctions, and even direct attacks by Israel and the United States. The statement also criticized threats made against Ayatollah Khamenei.

The assembly said that none of these plots have succeeded and that Iran stands today stronger and more stable than ever.

It added that large national rallies, especially the February 11 rally in 2025, have disappointed Iran’s enemies.

In conclusion, the Assembly of Lovers of Ahlulbayt of Afghanistan once again congratulated the Iranian people on the anniversary of the revolution and strongly condemned any threats against Iran’s leadership. The statement called on those who claim to support democracy to respect the will and vote of the Iranian people and to stop interfering in Iran’s affairs.

The statement was signed by Seyed Hossein Alami Balkhi, head of the Assembly of Lovers of Ahlulbayt and head of the Shia Ulema Council of Afghanistan.
