AhlulBayt News Agency: The commander‑in‑chief of Iran’s Army says the armed forces are closely monitoring enemy movements and remain fully prepared to deliver a decisive response to any act of aggression.
Speaking on the sidelines of a meeting between Air Force commanders, officers, and personnel and the chief of staff of the armed forces on Sunday, Major General Amir Hatami emphasized that vigilance and readiness remain top priorities. The gathering was held in honor of Army Air Force Day.
“We are closely watching the enemy and are ready to respond decisively to any mischief,” Hatami stated.
He noted that the Army Air Force has continued on a path of development and progress, adding that during the 12‑day imposed war, it carried out all its missions with courage and honor.
Hatami said the steadfast resistance of the armed forces ultimately forced the enemy to submit and request a ceasefire.
Addressing Iran’s adversaries, the Army chief warned them against making any new miscalculations.
“We hope the enemy does not repeat its mistakes, but if it does, the Army Air Force will certainly play a major role in the response,” he said.
Commenting on the presence of U.S. warships in the region, Hatami said such deployments are not new and have occurred repeatedly since the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
He stressed that Iran’s duty is to maintain full readiness, monitor all enemy movements, and remain prepared for a firm and decisive reaction.
