Mossad‑Trained Terror Leader Neutralized in Clash with Iranian Intelligence

Iranian intelligence forces neutralized a Mossad‑trained terror ringleader, Sadeq Ashtari, who had led an attack on a Tehran police station during foreign‑backed unrest. The remaining members of the cell were arrested, and weapons caches linked to the plot were seized.

AhlulBayt News Agency: A terrorist ringleader trained in “urban warfare” by the Israeli Mossad has been neutralized during clashes with Iranian intelligence forces.

Reports said that Sadeq Ashtari, who had received Mossad training in Erbil in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, led an attack on a police station in Tehran’s Tehranpars district in January. Iranian outlets confirmed his fate on Saturday.

The clashes also resulted in the arrest of the remaining members of the terror cell, according to the reports.

The targeted location in early January was identified as Police Station 126 of Iran’s Law Enforcement in Tehranpars.

The terror cell carried out the attack amid US‑ and Israeli‑backed riots across Iran, which aimed to turn sporadic economic protests into widespread unrest.

However, Iranian intelligence and security forces quickly countered the plot, arresting ringleaders and seizing weapons caches, including those intended for use in Tehran.

American officials themselves have acknowledged foreign involvement in the riots, with former CIA chief Mike Pompeo openly confirming Mossad’s role.

Iranian authorities have repeatedly emphasized that while they remain focused on addressing domestic economic issues, they will respond firmly to any threats against the country’s security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
