According to Ahl ul Bayt News Agency (ABNA), the governor of al Ahsa, Badr Bin Mohammad Al Jalawi, threatened to arrest Shias and to imprison them, after he prohibited for commemorating the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s) and they (Shias) refused to do that.
In a meeting with delegations of parents of detainees accused of reviving the rituals of Ahlul Bayt (pbut), Badr bin Jalawi sad: I will arrest all of my opponents - Shias - and imprison them.
The Legal Counsel of detainees, Tahir al Badiwi, which encountered the outrage of the Bad bin Jalawi, said: "we should meet King Abdullah with a delegation of notables, elders and masters to find a solution for detainees and fill a complaint against the excesses of the al Ahsa governor, who suppress Shias and thrown them into prisons without finding any permission"
