AhlulBayt News Agency: Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has issued a strong warning against efforts to force regime change in Iran, stating that such actions could plunge the world into chaos.
Since the Islamic Revolution in 1979, Western powers have repeatedly and heavily invested in changing Iran’s political system. These attempts have consistently failed, yet American and Israeli officials have recently revived the rhetoric.
On Sunday, Peskov responded to recent statements from Israeli authorities, cautioning that international talk about changing another nation’s leadership risks global catastrophe.
Speaking to Russian media, Peskov declared, “No nation or alliance of nations should promote the idea of regime change. If they do, the entire world will descend into hell.”
