AhlulBayt News Agency: A Lebanese citizen was martyred and several others were injured on Sunday, the third day of Eid al-Adha, in an Israeli airstrike targeting a motorcycle with two missiles on the road between Al-Shahabiya and Kafr Dunin in the Tyre District, southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese news agency reported that an Israeli drone launched the missiles at a motorcycle in the town of Al-Shahabiya, located in the Tyre District in southern Lebanon.
Earlier, the same source noted that an Israeli drone had flown at a low altitude over several towns, including Sarafand, Saksekiyeh, Adloun, Abu Al-Aswad, Al-Qasimiya, Al-Burghliyeh, and the Abbasieh junction in southern Lebanon.
On October 8, 2023, the Israeli army initiated an aggression against Lebanon, which escalated into a full-scale war on September 23, 2024. The conflict resulted in more than 4,000 martyrs, around 17,000 wounded, and the displacement of nearly 1.4 million people.
Since the ceasefire agreement took effect on November 27, 2024, Israel has committed thousands of violations, leading to at least 208 martyrs and 501 injured, according to official data.
Despite the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli army has conducted only a partial withdrawal from southern Lebanon while continuing to occupy five Lebanese hills seized during the last war.
