AhlulBayt News Agency: A solemn memorial gathering was held at Jamia Shaheed Motahhari Multan to mark the 36th death anniversary of the late Imam Khomeini. Speaking at the event, Hujjatul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Qazi Nader Hussain Alavi, the principal of the seminary and provincial head of the Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Maktab-e-Ahlul Bayt (South Punjab), paid rich tribute to the revolutionary leader.
He described Imam Khomeini not merely as a religious scholar, but as a visionary reformer and a builder of moral character who awakened the Muslim world. “
Through wisdom and insight, Imam Khomeini confronted global imperialist powers and breathed new life into the oppressed masses,” Alavi said. “His leadership overthrew a centuries-old monarchy and established a resilient Islamic Republic in Iran.”
Hujjatul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Alavi emphasized that the strength Iran shows today in standing against global tyranny is the result of Imam Khomeini’s teachings and leadership. “He nurtured his nation spiritually and intellectually, reviving their dead consciences and preparing them to defend Islamic values.”
He further stated that today, under the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei, Iran continues to uphold the revolutionary ideals of Imam Khomeini.
“This Islamic movement, inspired by Imam Khomeini’s legacy, will continue to shine light in a dark world until the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (A.S.),” he added.
Qazi Nader Hussain Alavi concluded by highlighting Imam Khomeini’s legacy as a global voice for the oppressed and a force of resistance against injustice. His commitment to truth and dignity, he said, remains a guiding light for the Muslim ummah.
