AhlulBayt News Agency: A near-total shortage of domestic gas has affected Aden and other southern Yemeni provinces under the Saudi-led coalition’s control, leaving hundreds of citizens stranded at distribution stations on the first day of Eid al-Adha.
This crisis coincides with persistent power and water outages, exacerbated by a severe heatwave with temperatures exceeding 45°C, further worsening living conditions for local residents.
Many citizens voiced frustration over the authorities’ failure to provide solutions, lamenting that this year’s Eid was marked by deprivation and the absence of essential services.
Gas, electricity, and water shortages remain a recurrent issue, with local authorities, led by the UAE-backed Transitional Council (STC), facing accusations of corruption and negligence, deepening the humanitarian crisis amid the absence of state institutions.
