AhlulBayt News Agency: Hujjat al-Islam, Syed Mureed Hussain Naqvi, Vice President of Wifaq-ul-Madaris Al-Shia Pakistan, Allama Syed Mureed Hussain Naqvi, has warned Muslims to stay vigilant, declaring that former U.S. President Donald Trump represents the Dajjal of our era.
Speaking at Jamia Ali Masjid in Jamia-tul-Muntazir, Lahore, he said Trump is spreading fear and distributing dollars across Islamic countries to manipulate them—using threats and temptations to serve American interests under the guise of trade.
Pakistani scholar stated that Trump’s actions resemble what Islamic traditions have warned about the Dajjal: intimidating some, bribing others, and securing loyalty from leaders by convincing them their regimes depend on U.S. support. According to Naqvi, this is how the U.S. is achieving its goals in the Muslim world.
He also criticized the sudden shift in U.S. policy toward Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, the Syrian rebel leader. Once labeled a terrorist with a bounty on his head, Jolani is now welcomed and supported by the U.S. because he aligns with the “Greater Israel” agenda and opposes the Bashar al-Assad government. Jolani has even been received in Saudi Arabia and praised, with U.S.-backed sanctions on him lifted.
Naqvi added that those who once celebrated the fall of Assad’s government claimed it marked the end of "Rafidi" (Shia) rule and the rise of a true Islamic leadership in Syria. But now it's clear that this change only served American and Israeli interests.
He warned that America has no regard for diplomatic or ethical norms when pursuing its goals and urged the Muslim world to remain aware and cautious of ongoing U.S.-Israeli conspiracies.
