AhlulBayt News Agency: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has reiterated that Iran’s right to peaceful nuclear energy is non-negotiable, emphasizing Tehran’s commitment to diplomacy as long as its rights are respected.

According to Mehr, during a phone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Araghchi discussed the latest developments in Iran’s indirect negotiations with the United States, as well as Tehran’s recent meeting with the three European nations engaged in nuclear talks.

He stressed that Iran remains open to reaching a mutually beneficial agreement, provided that the opposing parties demonstrate genuine political will and uphold Iran’s rights under the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). In exchange, Tehran seeks the lifting of sanctions that have impacted its economy.

Fidan, in response, commended Iran’s constructive diplomatic stance and reaffirmed Turkey’s willingness to support efforts aimed at advancing negotiations.
