AhlulBayt News Agency - After visiting Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi at the Imam Reza Hospital in Mashhad, Dr. Mohsen Rezaee said, “We sincerely want Allah to give back Ayatollah Tabasi’s health so that he can continue his job in different arenas”.
He narrated a memory from the days of imposed war and stated, “We wanted, at the time of Walfajr 8 Operation, Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi to provide us with the Razavi Shrine’s flag and he sent the flag very soon at the same night. Carrying that flag, we passed Arvand River and interred Faw and finally raised the same flag at the top of mosque of the city”.
Hasan Waeizi, the secretary of the expediency council’s meetings, who was accompanying Rezaee referred to the presence of Ayatollah Tabasi in the meeting of the council and said, “In the last fifteen years, we have had the honor of hosting him in the meetings of the expediency council and today when the meeting was held without his presence, his absence was deeply felt by all the members. For this reason, we traveled to Mashhad to visit him when the meeting finished today”.
Introducing Ayatollah Tabasi as one of the great valuable resources of the revolution and a trustful person of Imam Khomeini (R.A.) and the Supreme Leader, he said, “He, tolerating many difficulties, formed many grand incidents before the victory of the Islamic Revolution and at the time of movements. After the victory of the Islamic Revolution, also, he rendered many different services to all the public especially as the custodian of Imam Reza (A.S.) Holy Shrine and we hope his great services continue”.
Regarding the Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi’s role in the meeting of the expediency council, Waizi said, “Since he has got lots of experiences in various areas, his comments have always been effective. Also, he always wants best things for the people, tries for the advantage of the people, Islamic Republic, and society’s interests”.
