Solving crises in Syria, Yemen would be achieved by will of their people - says Larijani

Speaker of Iranian Parliament, Ali Larijani, stressed that solving the crises in Syria and Yemen could be achieved by the will of their people.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency - Speaker of Iranian Parliament, Ali Larijani, stressed that solving the crises in Syria and Yemen could be achieved by the will of their people.

“Crises in Syria and Yemen would be solved through a democratic framework, provided that the issue won’t by a subject of bargaining at the expense of the Syrian and Yemeni people,” Larijani said in a statement before leaving Tehran to New York to take part in a conference of the International Parliamentary Union.

He called on the countries which have desire to solve the crises in the region to find a platform to achieve the will of its people.

Larijani arrived at the JFK International Airport in the afternoon local time on Saturday (early Sunday Tehran time). 

He is scheduled to participate in the Fourth World Conference of Parliament Speakers convened by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in cooperation with the United Nations at the UN headquarters.

The Iranian official is expected to hold talks with his counterparts attending the conference on various issues including mutual interaction, economic development and joint ventures as well as key regional and international matters.

The Fourth World Conference of Parliament Speakers will be held in New York from August 31 through September 2.
