Jewish Representative at Majlis (Parliament) Siyamak Mareh Sedq said on Tuesday that the religious freedom in Iran is unique in the world.

Jewish Representative at Majlis (Parliament) Siyamak Mareh Sedq said on Tuesday that the religious freedom in Iran is unique in the world.

'We never pay attention to what foreigners might think about us but believe that Iran has a divine religion and avoids racism,' he said.

Monotheism is very deeply rooted in Iran, and we regard ourselves as inseparable part of the country, he added.

'We believe that all problems could be solved with resorting to the Constitution as well as good behavior of Iranian high-ranking officials,' he said.

The martyrs of religious minorities during Sacred Defense of Iraqi-imposed war (1980-88) prove our monotheistic commonalities, he said.
