Yemen vows continued military operations until Gaza siege ends

Yemen launched a missile attack on Ben Gurion Airport in response to Israeli actions in Gaza. The Yemeni Armed Forces imposed an aerial blockade and vowed to continue operations until Israel halts its offensive. The humanitarian crisis in Gaza remains critical.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces has announced a missile attack on Ben Gurion International Airport in the occupied territories. The strike was carried out in response to the Israeli regime’s ongoing atrocities in Gaza.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen's military, stated on Thursday night that Yemeni missile units targeted Ben Gurion airport, located southeast of Tel Aviv, using a homegrown hypersonic ballistic missile.

Saree emphasized that the retaliatory strike successfully achieved its objectives, forcing hundreds of thousands of settlers into shelters. He described the attack as part of Yemen’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian people amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The senior Yemeni military official reaffirmed that Yemen will continue expanding its military operations until the aggression against Yemen ceases and the blockade on Palestinians in Gaza is completely lifted.

Saree further stated that Yemeni Armed Forces will impose a complete aerial blockade on Ben Gurion International Airport and prevent Israeli-linked ships from navigating in the Red and Arabian Seas.

As the war in Gaza escalates, Yemen has enacted a strategic blockade on key maritime routes to obstruct military supplies to Israel and urge international intervention in the humanitarian crisis.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared that their operations will continue until Israel halts its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
