Ben-Gvir calls for cutting humanitarian aid to Gaza amid worsening crisis

Israeli Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has called for blocking humanitarian aid and fuel shipments to Gaza, further deepening the crisis in the besieged territory. His remarks come as he pushes for a policy of collective punishment, demanding that aid be withheld until Israeli hostages are released.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has called for blocking fuel shipments and reducing humanitarian aid entering Gaza, intensifying Israel’s policy of starvation against Palestinian civilians in the besieged territory.

In a post on X, Ben-Gvir, who also leads the far-right Jewish Power Party (Otzma Yehudit), urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and cabinet members to reverse the decision allowing aid into Gaza.

“It is foolishness and a moral and strategic mistake for Gazans to receive supplies while our hostages are starved,” he wrote, adding, “The equation must be clear: Want humanitarian aid? Release our hostages.”
