AhlulBayt News Agency: Tehran is set to host a grand gathering of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) devotees on Friday in celebration of the birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS). The event, themed "Iran of Imam Reza (AS)," will bring together thousands of participants in a vibrant display of devotion and unity.
According to IQNA, Abbas Heidari, head of the popular committee overseeing the festivities, announced that approximately 1,000 Moukebs (service booths) will be established across the streets hosting the gathering. These Moukebs will provide attendees with refreshments while also offering a range of cultural, social, medical, and health services.
The Municipality of Tehran, along with various organizations and institutions, will supply the necessary infrastructure for these booths, including water, electricity, and structural setups. However, their management and operational support will be handled by local community groups, mosques, and religious assemblies, reinforcing the communal spirit of the event.
Shia Muslims across the world, especially in Iran, commemorate the birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS) on the 11th day of Dhul Qaada, which falls on May 9 this year. This occasion marks the conclusion of Karamat Week, an annual observance that honors the birth anniversaries of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) on April 29 and Imam Reza (AS) on May 9.
