Nigerian Media Activist Stresses Commitment to Spreading AhlulBayt (a.s.) Teachings

At the 3rd International Conference of AhlulBayt (a.s.) Media Narrators, a Nigeria media activist emphasized the crucial role of media in conveying the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.), calling for greater attention to media engagement among women across the African continent.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The third International Conference of “AhlulBayt (a.s.) Media Narrators” commenced Thursday morning, May 1, 2025, in Qom, coinciding with the Ten Days of Dignity (from the first day of Dhu al-Qadah marked as Lady Masoumeh’s (a.s.) birth anniversary, to Dhu al-Qadah 11, coinciding with Imam Reza’s (a.s.) birth anniversary). The event was held at the conference hall of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, with the participation of media professionals and intellectuals from Iran and several African countries. It has been organized by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) International News Agency (ABNA).

Ms. Belqeis Saliwo from Nigeria, speaking at the conference, highlighted the importance of media in everyday life and called on followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school of thought in Africa, particularly women, to engage more actively in media-related activities.

Referring to the statements of the Supreme Leader regarding the significance of media, she urged the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly to organize training courses in the media field, enabling women to play a greater role in disseminating the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) in today’s world.
