AhlulBayt News Agency: Hojat ul-Islam Hasanain Wijdani, the Friday prayer leader of Quetta and a prominent Shia scholar in Pakistan, was arrested on April 20, 2025 at Taif Airport in Saudi Arabia for unspecified reasons.
He had traveled to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.
Three days have passed since Allama Wijdani’s arrest, but no official explanation or position has been provided by the Saudi authorities. This issue has caused great concern for the family, followers, and devotees of the Friday prayer leader of Quetta.
