UAE regime deploys Israeli radars off Yemen coasts

The UAE has deployed Israeli ELM-2084 3D AESA multi-mission radars in the Somali region of Puntland, off the coast of Yemen.

Ahlulbayt News Agency: The UAE has deployed Israeli ELM-2084 3D AESA multi-mission radars in the Somali region of Puntland, off the coast of Yemen.

Recent aerial images that media outlets circulated had showed Israeli systems deployed near the Bosaso Airport, which was supervised by the UAE that has been accused of operating suspicious military flights in recent months.

The UAE has been deploying Israeli surveillance and early warning radar systems to monitor and track Yemeni forces’ ballistic missiles and drones launched toward the Zionist entity and its ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden in support of the people of Gaza.

The UAE has pledged to establish a military base for the Zionist entity and deploy its defensive military technology in Somaliland by mid-2024, to limit Yemeni military operations against the Israeli enemy.

The ELM-2084 system is manufactured by the Israeli company ELTA, a subsidiary of the IAI group, and is widely used in air defense systems, including the Iron Dome system.

Over the past few years, Abu Dhabi has been able to convince local authorities in Somaliland of the necessity of establishing a military base for Israeli occupation in exchange for working with the occupation to officially recognize the so-called state of Somaliland, where would ensure an Israeli military presence overlooking the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Gulf of Aden.
