Final Statement of the Women’s Panel at the 6th Int’l Congress of Holy Quds/ Muslim Women of Gaza, Global Role Model

The final statement of the women’s panel at the 6th International Congress of Holy Quds emphasized solidarity with the women and children of Gaza, as well as unity and support for their struggles

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Women’s Panel of the 6th International Congress on Holy Quds, titled “Hasten to Al-Quds,” was organized by the International Affairs Department of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in collaboration with the Qadimun World Assembly.

The conference was held at the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly headquarters in Tehran, with the participation of more than 70 active women from Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Yemen, Bahrain, Nigeria, Tanzania, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, Brazil, Peru, France, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Indonesia.

At the conclusion of the women’s panel of the 6th International Congress of the Holy Quds, the following statement was read:

“Do not slacken in the pursuit of these people. If you are suffering, they are also suffering like you, but you expect from Allah what they do not expect, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise.” (Holy Quran, Surah: An-Nisa, Verse: 104)

For years, the atrocities of the ruthless Zionist regime in a dear part of the unified body of the Arab and Islamic Ummah have caused deep anguish among many Muslim nations, and today, even among non-Muslim nations, and make create the “Flood of the Free” movement, which emerged following the “Al-Aqsa Flood,” has rapidly amplified the voice of the oppressed yet resilient children and women across the world.

The sacred month of Ramadan presents a valuable opportunity to strengthen unity and solidarity among Islamic nations in support of the Palestinian people, especially considering the American-Zionist violation of the promises following the ceasefire, their intensified unjust aggressions, and the unprecedented genocide witnessed in contemporary history.

However, according to God’s tradition, crime has never helped someone to be victorious, and contrary to the enemy’s expectations, the Resistance not only has not weakened, but on the contrary, despite the martyrdom of its leaders and the human losses suffered, it has become stronger, more determined, and more prevalent. Because, Resistance is alive, will remain alive, and victory belongs to it.

Today, the Muslim women of Gaza, through their steadfast faith, patience, and unwavering stand for justice, have defied conventional paradigms of tradition and modernity, offering the world a powerful image of an active Muslim woman. They have effectively demonstrated the various dimensions of the resistance to freedom-seekers worldwide, nullifying Western models and presenting a global-standard role model.

Expressing our unwavering support and solidarity with the women and children of Gaza, we, the women participating in this congress from various nationalities, share in their suffering and struggles, and we salute these honorable figures who uphold the faith. We call upon all governments, nations, Arab and Islamic institutions, and intellectual and political figures across different spheres to take decisive action in response to this catastrophe.

We urge that this blessed month be seized as an opportunity for serious efforts and increased pressure to halt the aggression, deliver humanitarian and medical aid to all areas of the Gaza Strip, prevent further famine and devastation, ensure the return of displaced people, and support the reconstruction of Palestine.

We call upon scholars, religious leaders, imams, and preachers across the Islamic world not to remain silent in the face of the “greed of the oppressor” and the “hunger of the oppressed.” Instead, they must use all their resources, expertise, and capabilities to amplify the voice of Gaza, the suffering of its people, their legitimate rights, the righteousness of their resistance, and to mobilize forces in full support of their cause.

We hope that this year’s Quds Day will mark the beginning of a renewed and more extensive international movement, not limited to Islamic nations, aimed at intensifying all activities, rallies, demonstrations, initiatives, boycotting the Zionist occupying regime, and exposing its crimes along with those of its collaborators and supporters.

The people of Gaza are enduring a Ramadan of dignity under the shadow of war. We hope that such academic discussions will contribute to formulating strategic theories for active field operatives who are eager to take meaningful action, ensuring that all efforts are directed along the right path.
