AhlulBayt News Agency: Hamas Movement praised the shooting attack that was carried out near Haifa on Monday morning and called for escalating heroic resistance attacks against Israeli targets until the occupation is defeated.
Hamas said in a statement on Monday, “The heroic shooting operation that took place near the city of Haifa in northern 1948 occupied Palestine (Israel) comes in response to the escalating crimes of the Zionist occupation against our people in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank, and against our heroic prisoners in Israeli occupation prisons.”
The Movement stressed that “this operation, and previous quality operations demonstrate the ability of the Palestinian resistance to harm the occupation and confront its crimes, aggression and malicious plans aimed at liquidating the resistance, displacing our people from their lands in Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem, in addition to its continuous criminal practices against our free prisoners.”
It pointed out that such heroic operations represent the natural choice and the appropriate response to the ongoing Israeli massacres, siege, terrorism and abuse, and attempts to expel Palestinians, especially from the West Bank refugee camps, especially Jenin and Tulkarem.
On Monday morning, an Israeli was killed and another was wounded in a shooting attack near the Yokneam area, south of Haifa, in the 1948 occupied territories.
According to the Israeli police, the resistance fighter who carried out the attack near Yokneam ran over a number of Israelis at a bus station before shooting them. He was then gunned down.
