كُلُّ رِياءٍ شِرْکٌ إنَّهُ مَنْ عَمِلَ لِلنّاسِ کانَ ثَوابُهُ عَلیَ
النّاسِ، وَمَنْ عَمِلَ لِلّهِ کانَ ثَوابُهُ عَلی اللهِ.
Hypocrisy, in any of its forms, amounts to Shirk (polytheism); verily, one who works for the people, his reward lies with them, and one who works for God his reward lies with God.
