AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Sadr ad-Din Qabanchi, said,” The battle of Gaza showed the world the failure of efforts to normalize relations with the Zionist regime and proved the return of the Islamic epic.”

Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Sadr al-Din Qabanchi, Friday Prayer Imam of Najaf Ashraf, made some remarks in a gathering in this holy city on Sunday, October 22 and said,” Today's conflict in Palestine has turned into a brutal conflict, cutting off water and electricity, preventing human aid, bombing houses and hospitals are just a few examples of this brutality.”

He added,” This battle showed the world the failure of efforts to normalize relations with the Zionist regime and the return of the Islamic epic, and once again everyone understood that Israel will not remain stable and will be destroyed, God willing. All this confirms that Islam is facing a common enemy from the side of global colonialism, and this battle is deeper than the sectarian dimension, rather it is related to the human and Islamic dimension.”

He went on to emphasize that we stand by the Palestinian people and condemn the international and Arab silence towards these crimes; He also noted that the U.S., by taking decisions against the Palestinian people and supporting the Zionist regime, insists on continuing this massacre.

In another part of his speech, Friday Prayer Imam of Najaf, referred to the cancellation of the Accountability Law in Iraq, and clarified,” the decision of the Speaker of the House of Representatives to cancel the Law of Accountability and Justice is considered a decision contrary to the constitution, because the House of Representatives did not vote on it.”

He went on to point out that some people still wish for the return of the Baath Party, and emphasized,” Although the Baath Party has been thrown into the trash can, there are still flies living on this trash can that should be discarded.”

Regarding the payment of compensation to Iraqi farmers, Hujjat al-Islam Qabanchi said,” We are grateful to the Board of Ministers who tried to pay compensation to farmers who suffered losses due to the water shortage by implementing the Law on Protection of Victims of Unforeseen Incidents.”
