AhlulBayt News AGency: Member of Hamas’s political bureau Harun Nasser al-Din said on Sunday that the persistent Israeli attempts to turn the Al-Aqsa Mosque into a touristic site constitute grave escalation against the holy site.
In a press statement, Nasser al-Din said that the Israeli protection of the repeated violations of the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the latest of which was by settlers who posed in immodest clothes at the holy site, is a heinous crime and a provocation to the feelings of Muslims all over the world.
“The Palestinian people will not stand idle by while the holy site is repeatedly violated and desecrated,” the Hamas official warned, affirming that Palestinians will continue defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque until there will be no place for the invaders.
