AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Dozens of extremist Jewish settlers stormed the courtyards of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday morning under Israeli police protection.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem) reported that 57 settlers, including 35 Talmudic students defiled the Al-Aqsa and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards.
Fanatic Jewish settlers began storming Al-Aqsa from the Maghareba Gate and roamed in the Mosque's courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals, according to the Endowments Department.
The Israeli police evacuated the eastern region of the Mosque from Muslim worshipers to facilitate the incursion of settlers.
The settler incursions are part of periodic tours aiming to change the fait accompli in the Holy City and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Sheikh Ekremah Sabri had called for intensifying Muslims’ presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque to confront the calls of mass incursions by the Temple groups.
He pointed out that Al-Aqsa Mosque has recently witnessed a noticeable escalation of the incursions into its courtyards by Jewish groups.
