AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Air Force of the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees has carried out retaliatory attacks against Abha International Airport in southern Saudi Arabia.
The Armed Forces spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, confirmed on his Twitter account that the army on Tuesday struk Abha International Airport, by a number of Sammad-3 drones, with high precision.
“The attacks were launched in response to the Saudi-led aggression's increased airstrikes against Yemen and the continued siege on the country,” the army spokesman said.
Sare’e confirmed that the continuous drones attack on Abha International Airport led to its disruption for several hours.
"Our operations will continue as long as the aggression and siege continue," he added.
On Sunday, the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted military positions and sensitive targets at Abha Airport with high precision.
