AhlulBayt News Agency: The Staffs of Al-Kafeel company for public investments in the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine have started installing a solar energy system in the complex of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (Peace be upon him).
The head of the technology and energy solutions department at the company, engineer Karar al-Fatlawi, said: "the staff of the department has started implementing the project of installing a solar energy system in the Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas complex (peace be upon him), with a design that includes 3400 solar panels with a production capacity of 1.5 megawatts, the use of 13 solar inverter devices with a capacity of 115 kW, as well as installing a battery with a capacity of 1 megawatt to store energy and use it in operation at night."
"The project is being implemented in two phases, including the installation of 2,000 panels distributed on more than five surfaces in the complex,"he added.
Al-Fatlawi continued that" the mechanism of energy operation depends on the method of connecting the onkrit with the transformers located in the complex, "pointing out that"the project aims to reduce dependence on the National Grid and reduce environmental pollution and carbon dioxide emission."
