AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The head of the Sharia Committee of the Ulama Islamic Council announced his support for the popular petition to expel the ambassador of the Zionist regime from Bahrain.
Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Fazil al-Zaki, head of the Sharia Committee of the Bahraini Islamic Ulama Council, announced his support for the popular petition to expel the ambassador of the Zionist regime from Bahrain and cancel the agreement to normalize relations with the Zionists.
He said in this regard,” Considering the terrible crimes that the Zionist regime has committed against our Palestinian brothers in Gaza Strip, there is no doubt that we express our solidarity with our brothers in Gaza and condemn the crimes committed by this usurper regime.”
He added,” We demand to end any normalization of relations with the illegitimate Zionist regime.”
It is worth mentioning that Shia and Sunni activists in Bahrain launched a popular petition demanding the cancellation of the official normalization contracts between the Al Khalifa government and the Zionist regime, the closure of the regime's embassy in Manama, and the expulsion of the regime's ambassador and all Zionists from Bahrain. They launched a website to make it available to all Bahraini people so they can sign this petition.
