AhlulBayt News Agency: The Turkish consul in the Middle Euphrates provinces, Jafar Olgay Karakash, discussed supporting agricultural projects of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, during his visit to the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine and his meeting with the director of the Office of its Senior Official; Dr. Afdhal al-Shami.
"The Turkish consul expressed his country's readiness to support various projects of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, including agricultural projects in particular,"al-Shami said.
"During the meeting, we stressed the openness of the holy shrine to everyone to benefit from their expertise to serve citizens and visitors, and we also discussed opening prospects for cooperation between the two sides,"he added.
For his part, Turkish consul Olgay Karakash said that"the visit comes within the framework of discussing cooperation and supporting projects, which is the third in a row for the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, and this time I was accompanied by the commercial and agricultural attaches at the Turkish Embassy in Baghdad".
"During our visits on the days of the events, we saw joyful scenes of the services provided by the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine to visitors, which prompted us to discuss relations between our country and the holy shrines and agree on communication to support their service projects,"he added.
