(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Another young Kurdish Yezidi girl has been rescued from the grip of Islamic State (IS), a Kurdish official confirmed.
Identified by first initial only, “H.” was rescued after four years of captivity in Syria, as reported by Kurdistan 24.
Hussein Qa’edi, head of Kurdistan Region’s office for Yezidi abductees, said that the 17-year-old has now reunited with her family.
The Yezidi victim is said to be from Hardan residential complex near Sinjar.
