(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Following Iran’s official protest to the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) to terrorist groups’ infiltration into Iran from the region, KRG's spokesman said that it will never allow terrorists to carry out acts of terror from its territory against Iran.
Seffin Dizaei said, “We attach extraordinary significance to ties with Iran, as we have set up a joint committee with Iran to study sneaking of terrorists from the KRG territory to Iran.”
He underlined that they have asked terrorist groups not to use KRG soil against Iran and Turkey, and the region’s government will never let any group do so.
Following the terrorist groups’ measures against Iran from KRG soil, Iran’s representative in Erbil General Consulate recently submitted a note of protest to KRG officials.
