“Two cells attacked Imam Khomeini’s Mausoleum and the parliament (Majlis),' said the official, adding that a suicide assailant was shot dead before detonating its explosive belt, but the other one managed to detonate its belt.
Members of another cell opened fire on the clients of parliament and an office building of the complex, according to the official, but the cell is now under besiege.
Several terrorist cells have entered Tehran to commit terrorist actions, said the official of Iran’s Intelligence Ministry, adding that the members of one of the cells have been arrested.
