The number of people who were documented by the Syrian Observatory for human rights since the beginning of the year 2016 until today the 27th of September, due to continued targeting by the Turkish Gendarmerie Forces “Border Guards” for the Syrian citizens who have fled the ongoing military operations in their areas, towards places in which they can find a safe haven, to keep them away from the death that persecutes them in their homeland Syria, with the killing machine’s continued soul reaping of more civilians, from the death by barrel bombs, missiles, shells, in the prisons and poor living conditions with the insecurity, so their children’s fate don’t be the same as the fate of more than 15 thousand children killed since the start of the Syrian revolution, or as the fate of tens of thousands of other children who have been permanently disabled, or as the fate of thousands of children who were forced in military operations and were turned into fighters and bombers.
The 12th of January 2016 was date of the death of the first citizen in this year by the fire of the Turkish border guards while he was trying to cross towards the Turkish territories from Al-Hasaka province, also families and groups who tried to enter the Turkish side through the border of the provinces of Al-Hasakah, Al-Raqqah, Aleppo, Idlib and Latakia have had the same fate, and tens of others were injured and were beaten after being arrested by the Turkish border guards during cross attempts.
