Syrian, Hezbollah forces capture several points in southern Aleppo

The Syrian Army backed by Hezbollah reportedly captured Al-Qarassi after launching their second attack on this village.

AhlulBayt News Agency - The Syrian Army backed by Hezbollah reportedly captured Al-Qarassi after launching their second attack on this village.

According to a military source in Aleppo, Jaysh Al-Fateh lost three field commanders during the battle of Al-Qarassi; these leaders were identified as “Abu Mohammad Al-Nashimi”, “Abu Ahmad Al-Souri”, and “Abu Al-Bara’a Al-Hamwi.”

Following the capture of Al-Qarassi, the Syrian Armed Forces and their allies reportedly seized ‘Amarah village and ‘Amarah Hill after a fierce battle with Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) that resulted in the death of several terrorists.

The Syrian Armed Forces and their allies are now attacking the village of Khalsah, which was originally captured by Jaysh Al-Fateh in May of this year.

This latest government offensive appears to be an attempt to spread out the Jaysh Al-Fateh forces and recapture the territory they lost over the last few months.
