Kurdish Peshmarga forces reported that Sinjar city and Rabee'a area were re-controlled by its forces, as well as the arrival of emergency assistance to the people besieged in Sinjar Mountain.
The sources pointed out that Peshmarga forces are clearing Sinjar city from Da'ish remnants till final control of the city.
Emergency assistance was given to the besieged Izidis in Sinjar Mountain via helicopters with expectations that more assistance will be delivered.
Earlier, Baghdad ordered its air force to assist Peshmarga forces in their fight against Da'ish forces.
Reports said that Da'ish gunmen occupied Sinjar and Rabee'a area, west of Nineveh, following the withdrawal of Kurdish Peshmarga forces.
In addition, the holy shrine of Zainab was demolished as well as all Izidi holy shrines in Sinjar area.
Iraq is witnessing serious security deterioration since 10 June instant which obliged Premier Nouri al-Maliki to declare the utmost alert situation, following the fall of Nineveh province in the hand of Da'ish gunmen, in addition to their march to Salahal-din province and controlling some of its areas.
