Razavi Holy Shrine Readiness for Rendering Service to 3 Million Pilgrims in Qadr Nights

Assistant of Sacred Premises and Pilgrims’ Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi reported about the Razavi holy shrine readiness for rendering service to 3 million pilgrims in the Qadr nights.

Assistant of Sacred Premises and Pilgrims’ Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi reported about the Razavi holy shrine readiness for rendering service to 3 million pilgrims in the Qadr nights.

According to news from Astan Quds Razavi website, Mahmoud Mumtaz in the news meeting of assistants of Astan Quds Razavi around the programs of the Qadr nights in the Razavi holy shrine also asserted, “During these nights 20,000 servants, Khuddam, and employees render service to the pilgrims.”

He also reported about black cladding of the sacred premises and the holy dome on martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (A.S.) and said, “The whole sacred premises after the evening prayers as well as the rings around the holy shrine will be carpeted in these days.”

Preparing all worship spaces of the holy shrine

Mumtaz also talked about dusting and washing of the sacred premises before, during, and after the Qadr nights ceremonies, rosewater sprinkling, distributing several tones of shoes bags among the pilgrims, providing the prayer seals and plastic glasses, informing on the ceremonies, controlling the population of the courtyards and porticos, porticos separation, mounting welcome banner, and preparing the whole worship spaces for pilgrims in these days.

Assistant of Sacred Premises and Pilgrims’ Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi also reported about the attempt of this assistance office for providing favorable sound and light in the porticos, courtyards, and sanctuaries of the holy shrine as well as video broadcast in the expected places through video projectors and environmental monitors adding, “All the obstacles have been resolved and constructional activities have been minimized.”

1,800,000 volumes of Qur’an and prayer books

For the first time about 600,000 volumes of holy Qur’an have been transferred to the holy shrine in the verge of the Qadr nights amounting to a total of 1,800,000 volumes”. He added.

He also reported about feeding daily 12000 Mashhadi citizens in the Razavi holy shrine through the Razavi Generosity plan and added, “On the night of 21, 14000 orphans under supervision of the Relief Committee will be the guests through this plan.”

Places of pilgrims’ settlement

He also said about separation of worship spaces into ladies, men, and family sections and asserted, “The Azadi courtyard, the Gowharshad Mosque, the Jumhuri Islami courtyard, the Dar al-Hujjah portico, the Sheikh Tusi portico, the Sheikh Hurr-e Ameli portico, the Sheikh Bahaei portico, the Dal al-Ibadah portico, the Imam Khomeini (R.A.) portico, and the Rezwan, Ghadir, Jame Razavi, Kowsar, and Hidayat courtyards as well as the Tabrizi Shabestan (prayer niche) are places planned for families settling.”

The Inqilab Islami courtyard, the Dar al-Ijabah, the Dar al-Hikmah, and Dar al-Hidayah porticos as well as the Najafabadi, Nahavandi, and Sabzevari Shabestans are planned as ladies settling places while Garm and Alavi Shabestans and Dar al-Zuhd portico are planned as men settling places”, he continued.

The Ghadir and the Dar al-Marhamah porticos with gender separation have been also provisioned for non-Iranian pilgrims”, he said.

Safety, tranquility, and order in the holy shrine

Noting that creating order, safety, and tranquility are regarded as three main basics of the Assistance Office of Sacred Premises and Pilgrims’ Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi, he reminded, “During Qadr nights Hedayat, Hadi , and Basir patrols will render special services for creating order and security for the pilgrims.”

Mumtaz asserted, “This assistance office also renders services in the sections of the deposits, the lost ones, wheelchair, pilgrims vehicles, fire units, and other external organizations including Thamen municipality, Thamen headquarters, and other related institutions in order to provide favorable services in the holy shrine for keeping order, safety, and sanitary.”

Noting also that after 70 t0 80% population accumulation in the courtyards, the doors of the holy shrine will be closed, he remarked, “This year for the first time emergency exists have been provided for the pilgrims.”

62% increase in medical services in the holy shrine

Assistant of Sacred Premises and Pilgrims’ Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi reported also about settlement of 32 extra, mobile, and fixed bases of medical emergencies during the Qadr nights in the holy shrine adding, “19 ambulances have been planned across the sacred premises to render medical services to the pilgrims in the shortest time and this shows a 62% increase in medical services of the holy shrine compared with the previous year.”

Recommendations to pilgrims

At the end of his talks, Mumtaz recommended pilgrims to keeping silence, observing pilgrimage manners, avoiding sitting on the traffic pathways and entries, avoiding photography in the sacred premises, observing religious clothing and sanitation, putting prayer seals and prayer books in special places, guiding the lost ones to the related offices, paying attention to khuddam’s guides, declaring suspicious things to Khuddam, observing the conditions of the elderly and the disabled ones while attending the holy shrine, delivering the found objects to the related offices, and helping the Khuddam in keeping order and safety in the holy shrine.
