According to the report issued from Astan Quds Razavi website, in a symbolic and spiritual ceremony, a group of servants of the illuminated shrine of Hazrat Reza (A.S.) accompanied the caravan of prayer and Qur’an books which carried 600 thousand of these books form Malekabad garden to the Holy Shrine. These holy books have all been carrying to be used by Mashhadi citizens and also pilgrims of Imam Reza (A.S.) during the Qadr nights.
According to this report, on the Sunday night the street of Martyr Montazeri (Malekabad) of Mashhad was hosting the enthusiastic presence of the Gracious Imam’s (A.S.) servants; the servants who are preparing themselves for hosting 3 million visitors during the blessed nights of Qadr and try to create a kind of atmosphere in which the pilgrims and other visitors do praying and worship in the holy atmosphere of the Razavi Holy Shrine.
In this ceremony, the required Qur’ans of the pilgrims were transferred by 8 trailers adorned with flowers and the Imams’ (A.S.) traditions. This caravan started its trip from the stores of Malekabad Garden and after passing the streets of Martyr Montazeri, moved across Palestine Square, Ahmadabad, Shariati, Basij Square, Imam Reza (A.S.) Street and moving toward the Holy Shrine, moved in the underpass of the Holy Shrine, Navab Street, Mosala, and u-turn of Navvab Street and the “entrance of Hur” illuminated the city with the light of Qur’an.
After a while, the Qur’anic caravan was welcomed by the servants as well as the pilgrims of the Holy Shrine. The shipment was distributed in 50 previously located places in the Holy Shrine in order to be used in the nights of 19th, 21st, and 23rd of Ramadan by the pilgrims and wakeful people.
According to this report, by adding these books to the existing books in the Holy Shrine’s shelves, those who intend to take part in the ceremonies of Qadr night won’t need to bring Qur’an and prayer books with themselves and the existing books (which can be increased up to 1 million) will suffice the population.
