A report issued by the Israeli National Security Research Institute stated that the so-called Iraq and Sham Islamic State (Da'ish or ISIL) is unable to occupy Iraq o controlling vast areas in it.
The reports added that the most numbers of Da'ish forces (ISIL) will not exceed 10.000 fighters, which figure cannot occupy Baghdad or control it.
It added that Da'ish managed in occupying some parts of Iraq, because the people did not fight against them.
"The people consider that Da'ish is not worse than Premier Nouri al-Maliki's government himself", the Israeli report added.
The report pointed out that Da'ish "does not constitute a threat to Israel at the present time", but referred that Da'ish finance or relations with other terrorist organizations may target Israel.
The Institute, headed by Amos Yadlin, a retired Israeli Air Force (IAF) deputy commander, previously director of the Shin Bet and current director of Tel Aviv University’s Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), pointed out that Da'ish is " part of World Jihad Camp, which wants to establish an Islamic state in the region, similar to Taliban, but the internal conflict between its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri resulted in expelling Da'ish from the alliance made by Qaeda with other main Islamic components.
The report added that "the media is exaggerating Da'ish capabilities, such as the number of its organization".
It pointed out that the number of the fighters did not exceed 10.000, including some foreigners.
