(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Units of the armed forces carried out operations against terrorists' dens and gatherings in several areas, killing and injuring many of them, in addition to destroying their weapons and ammunition.
Army units eliminate scores of terrorists in Damascus Countryside
Army units destroyed terrorist hideouts and gatherings, eliminating large numbers of terrorists in Rima farms, the town of al-Sarkha, and west of al-Mashrafa in al-Qalamoun area.
The army carried out special operations targeting hideouts of Jabhet al-Nusra terrorists in the town of Yabroud, eliminating many terrorists and destroying six cars containing weapons and ammo.
Army units destroyed six other cars loaded with weapons and ammo which were coming from the Lebanese border town of Ersal.
Other units clashed with terrorist groups in the town of Daraya, eliminating a number of terrorists, injuring others, and destroying their weapons and ammo, while more units carried out a series of operations in Khan al-Sheih and its farms, resulting in losses among terrorists.
A number of terrorists were killed in army operations in Aliya and al-Hajjariya farms in Douma area and east of the Police Hospital in Harasta, and a car loaded with weapons and ammo was destroyed west of Erbin.
On a relevant note, sources said that scores of citizens from the towns of Beit Sahm, Yelda, Bebila and Aqraba turned themselves in and were released after settling their legal status, and that this was achieved via popular reconciliation efforts.
Army eliminates terrorists in Homs
A military source told SANA that the army units killed scores of terrorists in al-Khalidiyeh and al-Daar al-Kabera villages in Homs province, in addition to destroying their equipment.
Another army unit destroyed a terrorists' warehouse in al-Rastan countryside, killing and injuring scores of them.
Terrorists killed in Aleppo and its countryside
A military source told SANA that the army units killed and injured scores of terrorists in the area surrounding Kwaires Airport, Arbed, al-Jadedeh, Handarat Camp and the area surrounding Aleppo Central Prison, in addition to destroying their weapons.
The source added that other army units killed and injured a large number of terrorists in Maskana, Babeis, Kfar Hamra and Hreitan.
In Aleppo city, the army units eliminated scores of terrorists in Hanano, al-Enzarat, al-Haidariyeh, Karm al-Maiser and the Old City neighborhoods.
Army eliminates terrorists in Daraa
Army units eliminated terrorists in Daraa al-Balad and the town of Otman in Daraa province, destroying their artillery and vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns.
An army unit repelled a terrorist group which attempted to attack a police station on the Syrian-Jordanian border near the town of Abu Katula.
Terrorists killed in Deir Ezzor
Army units eliminated terrorist groups in al-Reshdiye, al-Sinaiye, al-Huwaiqa, al-Matar al-Qadim, al-Orfi and al-Ummal in Deir Ezzor city, destroying their weapons and ammo.
Among the dead terrorists were Yousef al-Dakhil and Yasir al-Wardi.
Another unit destroyed four terrorists’ cars loaded with weapons and ammo in al-Huwaiqa neighborhood along with the terrorists inside them.
Army eliminates terrorists in Idleb
Army units set an ambush for terrorists near the village of Ura al-Shalami in Idleb countryside, eliminating a number of terrorists and injuring others.
Another unit killed a number of terrorists and injured others on the road between Idleb city and the Central Prison.
Two civilians killed, material damage caused by terrorist attacks in Damascus Countryside and Deir Ezzor
A source at Damascus Countryside Police Command said that a terrorist group opened fire on Syrian Arab Red Crescent employee Nisreen al-Hakim while she was heading to work, killing her instantly.
The source said that terrorists also opened fire on an ambulance in Douma area, causing material damages to the vehicle, but the medical crew were not injured.
In Deir Ezzor city, a citizen was killed by a shot fired by terrorist sniper in al-Muwazafin neighborhood.
72 people who turned themselves in released in Quneitra
72 people who had been mislead into taking part in the current events in Syria turned themselves in to the authorities in Quneitra province via the central committee for national reconciliation.
The individuals were released after their legal status was resolved and they pledged to not bear arms or commit any act that harms the safety of the country and citizens.
On a relevant note, people from the areas Jebata al-Khashab, Tarnajeh, Ofania and Ein al-Bayda began returning their homes from they were displaced nearly two years ago by terrorists.
