Daesh Claims Responsibility for Beirut Bombing

The al- Qaida-affiliated terrorist group Daesh claimed responsibility for the Thursday bomb attack in Beirut.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) The media wing of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, known as Daesh, has posted a statement on Twitter, claiming responsibility for the bombing, Akhbar Al-Arab website reported.In the statement, Daesh insulted Shia Muslims and said the attack was only a small part of what Hezbollah should expect to face.A car bomb explosion in a southern suburb of Beirut on Thursday, January 2, left 4 people dead and 77 others wounded.It was the first attack on the Harra Harrik area that has been reconstructed after the 33-day war between Lebanon and the Zionist regime in 2006.The terrorist bombing took place after the arrest of Majid Al-Majid, head of a terrorist group that carried out last month’s attack in front of the Iranian embassy in Beirut./149
