Report: 11 Israeli forces violations against journalists in October

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A human rights report said that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) violated rights of journalists on 11 occasions during the past month of October.The Palestinian youth media rally said in a report on Sunday that IOF soldiers escalated their assaults on Palestinian journalists and cameramen in the past month with the number of violations reaching 11.It said that the journalists were assaulted while covering events in the West Bank and Jerusalem.The rally said that the most serious violation was the injury of a reporter in addition to the detention of three journalists.The rally asked the world community to pressure the Israeli occupation authorities into halting attacks on journalists and to stop violating international laws that protect journalists at work./149
