(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Last year, the U.S. Commission of Protection the equality among workers received 3811 complaints. Workers accused employers of discrimination on religious grounds, according to "Vedomosti" newspaper. For example, a miner, who is an evangelical Christian, refused to undergo biometrics examination because of the religious norms, and two muslim drivers said they will not carry alcohol because their religion forbids it.The Commission will consider each complaint individually. If the conflict won’t be settled through negotiation, the cases will be transferred in court. Recently, Muslim women have filed a lawsuit against the Abercrombie & Fitch Company.The authority of the company considered that hijab wearing break dress code and fired one of female employees. Another woman was denied to accept for employment because of the fact that she was in hijab during an interview. The court ordered the company to pay compensation to Muslim women in the amount of $ 71,000.According to lawyers , complaints will be less if the companies will organize training on discrimination and will teach employees of religious tolerance./149
