Islamic Movement calls for marching to Aqsa Mosque next Wednesday

The Islamic Movement in the 1948 occupied lands called on the Palestinians to come together next Wednesday from all occupied areas of Jerusalem, the West Bank and the green line, and march to the Aqsa Mosque to protect it against a possible desecration break-in by Jewish groups on the occasion of their new year.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Islamic Movement in the 1948 occupied lands called on the Palestinians to come together next Wednesday from all occupied areas of Jerusalem, the West Bank and the green line, and march to the Aqsa Mosque to protect it against a possible desecration break-in by Jewish groups on the occasion of their new year.

The Islamic and national forces in Jerusalem and its environs announced the setting up of a sit-in tent in support of the Aqsa Mosque on the roof of Al-Halawani house in Wadi Joz neighborhood and would be open to the public as of Tuesday.

They said that a news conference would be held inside this tent on the latest developments in Jerusalem, especially the Jewish dangers threatening the Aqsa Mosque and the ways to confront them.

For his part, Sheikh Kamal Al-Khatib, deputy head of the Islamic Movement, had stated that his Movement's interaction with the issues of the Islamic nation, especially in Syria and Egypt, does not mean that it is not concerned about the dangers threatening Jerusalem and the holy Mosque.
