(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The prominent Lebanese religious pundit, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Qatan ripped into Salafi groups for their murderous acts in Egypt and pointed out the groups are the arrogant world’s stooges in the region.
“We heavily denounce the recent slaying in Egypt and demand Muslims worldwide to stand against such measures,” the religious cleric underscored
Sheikh Al-Qatan underlined that it is proved beyond a reasonable doubt that those extremist groups are the brainchild of Zionism.
To the religious cleric, the posse of extremists do not have even tenuous grip on Islamic principles and teachings and at the “very present time, they are the main plausible threat against Muslims in the Islamic World,” Sheikh Ahmad Al-Qatan underscored.
It is worthwhile to noting that Leaders of the Shia community in Egypt also condemned the recent sectarian killings in Egypt and censured the government for what they said was its failure to protect the Shia community.
