Israeli soldiers raid Al-Khalil, terrorize workers, start fires

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided Arub refugee camp in Al-Khalil on Sunday and broke into many houses and set up a roadblock at its main entrance.Eyewitnesses told the PIC that IOF soldiers in a number of armored vehicles raided the camp’s main suburbs before setting up the roadblock and scrutinized IDs of workers while heading to their places of work at dawn.They pointed out that a big number of IOF soldiers were seen deployed near the main entrance to the camp and at the mountain opposite to it.IOF soldiers had stormed Beit Uwa village in Al-Khalil last night and fired flare bombs that started fires in a number of open fields, local sources said, adding that Palestinian firefighters extinguished the fires.The sources said that other IOF checkpoints were set up near Halhul, Yatta, and Al-Khalil city.End item/ 149
