(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - At least 8 Shia Muslims were injured in a targeted attack on Imam Ali's birth anniversary procession by the terrorists of Sipah-e-Sahaba in Dera Ismail Khan.
Multitudes of Shiites participated in the procession that was held under the aegis of Hussaini Azadar Alliance. When they reached near Kat Gaher, the intolerant Wahhabis-influenced Deobandi terrorists opened fire upon the peaceful procession.
The injured Shia Muslims were rushed to District Headquarters Hospital where their condition is said to be critical.
Shia parties and leaders have condemned the armed attack on the celebration on birth anniversary of commander of faithful Hazrat Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in Dera Ismail Khan. They said it was tantamount to deprive Shiites of their inalienable right to practice Shia Islam in Pakistan.
