Academics and experts from the halal industry and manufacturers will gather to discuss potentials and challenges of the industry.
Exhibitors will present their goods and services during the fair and visitors have opportunity to sample various types of halal food products.
During the three-day fair, a Halal Cooking Show and a gala concert will also be held.
Bakir Izetbegovic, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), on Monday received the fair's organisers.
He stressed the importance of organising such a forum, given the needs of the markets of BiH and the region for a halal industry.
